Spear Weighing Equipment Completes Installation of a New Electronic Truck Scale

Xuzhou Spear Weighing Equipment Co., Ltd. has recently completed the installation of a new SCS electronic truck scale for an industrial customer.

The project was developed to provide the customer with a dedicated vehicle weighing point for daily transportation and material management. The site presented a relatively narrow installation area alongside the factory building, requiring the weighing equipment to be configured according to the existing site conditions.

Heavy-Duty Weighbridge for Industrial Applications

The installed truck scale uses a heavy-duty steel weighbridge designed for regular truck operations. Electronic load cells provide the weighing signal, allowing vehicle weight to be measured through the electronic weighing system.

The platform layout was arranged to fit the customer's existing vehicle access route. This helped minimize changes to the surrounding facility while providing a dedicated area for truck weighing.

Designed Around the Customer's Site

Industrial weighing projects are often different from standard installations. Available space, vehicle dimensions, traffic flow and operating requirements can all affect the configuration of a truck scale.
